Feedback History

Caltric has been selling on eBay since 2009, and has earned over 200,000 total positive feedback ratings on eBay, with a 99.1% overall score. You definitely can’t survive on eBay and earn over 200,000 positives unless you’re either delivering a great price, excellent service, or a big selection. And a combination of either of those three definitely helps. Caltric is also a Top-Rated store, so you definitely get a sense of security with your purchase.

Caltric is a fairly large store, with almost 50,000 items in stock. They carry all sorts of parts for all sorts of vehicles and machines. If you have something with an engine or a motor inside of it, they carry parts for it – cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, jet skis, scooters, boats, etc. So this isn’t an auto part store, its a vehicle part store.

Caltric has a full lineup of replacement parts, such as alternators, starters, bolts, nuts, chains, brake pads, stators, solenoids, cooling, fan motors, water pumps, gauges, ignition parts, etc. Whatever engine or motor you have, they carry parts for it.

This is actually one of the more impressive auto/vehicle parts stores that I have come across. The usual stores like Autozone or Pep Boys have all the usual car parts that you may need; but they only have a select few motor cycle parts, or ATV parts. Caltric is like a Home Depot for vehicle parts.

One thing I do appreciate about their parts selections is that they sell re-manufactured starters and alternators – but with no core needed.

What I like or don’t like

Their storefront could use a bit more organization. When you enter their store, you’re just faced with a grid of items. So if you wanted to find a chain for a Yamaha motorcycle for example, you would have to click on an item, then click on “See other items” link, and then type in a search query. For an experienced eBay user, that isn’t very hard. For someone who is new, or intermediate, that could take over 5-10 minutes to figure out. By which time, most people have already given up. So an easy to navigate interface would benefit this store greatly.

I do appreciate their attention to detail in their listings. Each listing has a clear and large pictures, so you can clearly see what is included in the listing, as well as any cosmetic flaws or blemishes that the item may have. Their descriptions don’t go into to much descriptive detail, but all part numbers are listed, as well as what engine/motor/car/vehicle that the item will be compatible with.

Their excellent feedback really makes you feel secure in shopping from this eBay store. 30 Day return policyAs does their 30-day hassle free returns policy. No need to email back for a return authorization, or deal with with annoying emails back and forth. You just click on return, and send it back. And having a month to do so is quite convenient.

  1. I purchased a cdi off of Amazon for my 1994 Yamaha waverunner 3 . I received it but wire colors are different and number of male and female connectors are different so I’m wondering if it is the correct one and if so do you have a wiring diagram to show how it hooks up there was nothing in the box except the cdi.

Sold me a carburetor that caused me several headaches before I finally put my old carb back on and now just turn the fuel valve off to keep it from leaking. The carb from caltrop did not leak but the hole ndamatic tranny would shift . Diagnosis showed ECM. So spent 275 bucks and changed it still didn’t work. Changed throttle position sensor and tranny started working but bike would not run properly. Put the old carb back on. Caloric reply ….Sorry. …Well they are sorry for sure steer clear.
