Feedback History

Betterworldbooks has been selling on eBay since 2002, and currently has accumulated over 1.8 million positive total feedback ratings, with an overall score of 99.2%. So you can definitely feel secure about your purchase knowing that you are getting both quality and authentic merchandise, as well as great customer service. It is virtually impossible to survive on eBay for millions of transaction unless you are satisfying a very huge amount of customers.

The last time I visited a college bookstore about 10 years ago, I walked out practically with a new home mortgage. Selling textbooks seems like an organized crime racket. A college bookstore is almost like a casino – it seems like a license to print money. And if you compare textbook prices online, you might save like 5%, but nothing of any significance.

Fortunately, a lot of professors these days realize this, and make do with earlier editions so as not to burden students with the added cost. Book buying  in college is just about the worst experience you can have as a student, so cheap used textbooks are like water for a thirsty person.

I have used betterworldbooks before, and have recommended it to my friends who are students. I would highly recommend any student to look into their eBay store to order textbooks. You definitely can’t beat their prices.

But it doesn’t really stop there, as textbooks are just a part of their store. They also sell everyday regular books, as well as children’s books. From Harry Potter to Computers for Dummies, you should find what you’re looking for as they have over a million books in stock at all times.

As they deal with a lot of older edition and used books, you’re likely to find out of print, or out of circulation books that your local bookshop doesn’t carry. And their special deals make it possible to come away with a handful of books, without needing a new credit line.

What I like or don’t like

Their store navigation is fairly useful. Their left side eBay category listing is quite extensive. If you click on a main category, you then have multiple sub categories to choose from, like type, brand, etc. Once you get into a listing, the same menu carries over.

Their attention to detail in their listings, and their stellar feedback really makes you feel secure in shopping from this eBay store. 60 day return policyAs does their 60-day hassle free returns policy. No need to email back for a return authorization, or deal with with annoying emails back and forth. You just click on return, and send it back.
