Titan Motorsports on Amazon is a store for all of your performance needs, especially for imports. Their specialties are in the sport compact car arena, although you’ll see a lot of muscle car parts, and older small block and large block performance parts. Titan Motorsports has been selling on Amazon since 2008, and has earned over 400 positive feedback ratings on Amazon, with a 4.9 overall score. 400 doesn’t sound like much, but considering that 1 in 20 buyers leaves feedback on Amazon, it’s actually quite a large number. And you can’t earn that many unless you’re either delivering a great price, excellent service, or a big selection. And a combination of either of those three definitely helps. So Titan Motorsports is obviously a very successful Amazon store.
Titan Motorsports is also rated as a #1 Best Seller in some of the categories that they sell. This means that they offer competitive prices, as well as a history of high customer satisfaction in those categories. Whenever you see a seller with the #1 logo, you have most likely found a good seller.
A few years back I had a Toyota MR2 for sale, and I was looking at various motorsports sites to fix it up a bit before selling. Have you ever tried to work on a MR2 engine? They’re surprisingly easy to work on, but if you’re not looking in the right places, parts can be a headache.
With performance auto parts in general, it can be hard to find quality, cheap prices, and authentic merchandise all in the same place. More often than not, if you find an awesome price, the parts are either used or refurbished by a machine shop seller. And if you’re Ok with that, I have no issue with that. But if you’re expecting brand new merchandise, as well as authentic (and/or Made in the USA) products, it can be hard to find a shop that doesn’t end up costing you an arm and a leg.
Usually with performance shopping, you have a goal in mind, not a price. And you buy whatever parts it takes to achieve that goal. And so before you know it, your budget is maxed out. And if you’re buying on eBay, it can take 3, 4 or even 5 sellers just for something simple like redoing valves and springs. This seller has the cheapest valves. That seller has the cheapest gaskets. And so on and so on.
At Titan Motorsports, you can usually find either the cheapest prices online, or consistently among the lowest prices online, and you can expect to receive first quality authentic merchandise.
For example: I recently purchased a set of Hooker Headers. Part # 8501HKR to be exact. The price everywhere else online was about $315-330. I paid $299 at Titan Motorsports.
Another of my favorite features for this store is that they house their own inventory. A lot of sellers these days have their products drop-shipped for them. That means slower shipping times, and a wild goose chase if your item comes in defective, not as described, or incomplete. Believe me….I’ve drop-shipped to buyers myself. When I’m buying, I avoid them as much as I can.
