Closeoutlinen has been selling on Amazon since 200, and has earned over 2,000 positive feedback ratings on Amazon, with a 4.9 overall score.
Closeoutlinen is also rated as a #1 Best Seller in some of the categories that they sell. This means that they offer competitive prices, as well as a history of high customer satisfaction in those categories. Whenever you see a seller with the #1 logo, you have most likely found a good seller.
With online shopping, sometimes you have to set your expectations, and this store is a good example. When you buy online, you can’t expect to have the best price, the best service, and the best quality of merchandise. Often, one of those three are sacrificed at the expense of another.
Although a majority of their items are brand new drop-ship products, a lot of what Closeoutlinen sells is liquidated merchandise directly from department stores like Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s – something I have a lot of experience in myself. With these items, you can get cheap bedding sets; like $300 sheet sets for just $60 or $70, or a queen comforter set for $50. But again, you have to set your expectations. There are reasons for just a price drop. Reasons like tape residue on the sheets, repackaging, customer returns, etc.
A large portion of “salvage” or liquidated merchandise is perfectly usable, and almost in as-new condition. And if you know that going in, you will be very satisfied with your purchase, as you will be getting a bargain of a deal. Just keep in mind, that if the deal seems to good to be true, it probably is. Just keep an eye out for terms like “repackaged”, or “customer return”, or “display model”. When you see one of these terms, or one like it, make sure to read the full description so you know exactly what flaws the item may or may not have.
What I like or don’t like
Their store navigation is very useful. You’d be surprised at how many stores (even good stores) fail at adding a simple navigational menu, either at the top or on the left. With their menu, you just start on the left side, choose the desired category, and go from there.
Another thing that I really appreciate about this store is the quality of their listings. Each listing is described in detail, so you have all the necessary information.
Their attention to detail in their listings, and their stellar feedback really makes you feel secure in shopping from this Amazon store. As does their 30-day hassle free returns policy. No need to email back for a return authorization, or deal with with annoying emails back and forth. You just click on return, and send it back.
